Yam Teochew Fishball Mee

I decided to head down to Hougang today to search for good food. When I was at the hawker centre at Hougang, I noticed that there were several queues at the various stalls ranging from Chicken Rice to Minced Pork Noodles and Fishball Noodles. However, I noticed that for this particular Teochew Fishball Noodle Shop, it has an exceptional long queue. I decided to give it a shot and ordered a bowl of Kway Teow dry with chilli. The queue was well worth the wait, the Kway Teow had a very springy and silky texture. The lard, garlic and the chilli was perfectly mixed to give the Kway Teow a very fragrant taste. There was a variety of ingredients like braised mushroom, minced pork, fish cake and fishball. The fishball, was succulent and very fresh, it does not have a fishy smell or too salty. Definitely one of the better Fishball Kway Teow I have tasted. While I was ordering my Kway Teow, I noticed that the Chicken Feet looks good and it smells good...I simply couldn't resist. Although I'm not a Chicken Feet lover, I think that I will regret if I don't try this dish. True enough the Chicken Feet was perfectly stewed for a long time until the bones are so soft that you can simply just chew the whole thing. The braised sauce is rich and tasty and I can imagine if they use it to stew pork it would be extremely tasty and delicious.
