Chendol
Chendol is also one of the famous and popular dish that you must try when you are in Penang. I was at this Joo Hooi Cafe to try the Fried Kway Teow and Penang Chendol that is rated the best in Penang. The Chendol is indeed very good. The coconut milk is very fragrant and fresh, the gula melaka that was added makes the chendol even more fragrant. The ingredients are red beans, worm liked jelly made from rice flour and ice shaving topped with coconut milk and gula melaka. You can order this dessert after a plate of Fried Kway Teow to end the meal with a sweet finish.
