Fried Kway Teow

If you come to Penang, you must definitely try the Penang Fried Kway Teow. This is one of the famous local dishes that is very popular among the locals and tourists. I was walking along the street of Jalan Penang looking for the famous Char Kway Teow at this coffeeshop called Joo Hooi Cafe. It took some time for me to locate the coffeeshop as I was walking from one end of Jalan Penang to the other. I ordered a plate of Fried Char Kway Teow with prawns and that cost RM4.00. The Kway Teow is very fragrant and smooth, making the overall taste of the Kway Teow very tasty with ingredients like the chinese sausages, prawns, cockles, eggs and bean sprouts. However, I find that the prawns are not too fresh and its crunchiness is kindof artificial due to the addition of sodium powder. You can drop by this place to try out this Fried Kway Teow if you have a craving for it.
