Simei Penang Laksa Speciality (四美特味槟城叻沙)

Today, I was at Yuhua Market and Hawker Centre to check out the laksa at this stall called Simei Penang Laksa Speciality. I ordered a bowl of Laksa for S$3.00. The Laksa was delicious, the gravy was very thick and tasty. The bee hoon has goes well with the gravy, making it very tasty, you can find ingredients like bean sprouts, cockles, tau pok and hard boiled egg. The laksa is indeed one of the better ones I have tasted and it will satisfy your craving.

Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Claypot Laksa

Today, I was at Bukit Merah Hawker Centre to have my favourite laksa from Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Claypot Laksa. It has been quite a while since I had a delicious bowl of laksa, you can always see a long queue at this stall and the expected waiting time is about 20 minutes. I ordered the big Claypot Laksa for S$5.50. The smell of the Laksa was already oozing out from the claypot even before I even taste it. The taste was even better than the smell. The gravy was thick and very fragrant, the bee hoon has aborbed the goodness of the gravy, making it very tasty. The secret to their success is their freshly squeezed coconut milk and fresh ingredients that makes the Laksa taste so good. You can find ingredients like bean sprouts, cockles, shredded chicken, tau pok, fish cake and prawns. The claypot also helps to maintain the temperature of the Laksa so that the customers can enjoy the hot and piping Laksa. I find that the wait was well worth it and it sure was satifying. Overall, this is one of the best Laksa I have ever tasted. You must give it a try or you will regret it!
