Sky on 57 (Marina Bay Sands)

I brought my wife to try out the restaurant opened by Justin Quek, the renowed celebrity chef. It was located on the highest level of the hotel. The ambience of the restaurant and the panaromic view was fantastic. I ordered the business set lunch for both my wife and myself. The cost is S$48.00++ per person for 3 course and S$60.00++ per person for 4 course. For appetiser, I chose the Mushroom Truffle with Potatoes, the Mushroom Truffle is perfectly grilled till it's slightly charred to give the grilled flavour. My wife chose the Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao for appetiser, the soup was well contained in the Xiao Long Bao with a little taste of the Foie Gras, it has a unique taste if you like Foie Gras but I prefer it with the meat fillings to give it a wholesome taste. For the soup, it was Mussle Soup with Clams with a tinge of curry flavour. The soup is creamy and thick and mussles are added to add flavour to it. As for the main course, I had Roasted Duck Breast in French style and it was served with tomatoes and potatoes. The Roast Duck Breast was tender and juicy, the skin was very crispy like Peking Duck but thicker. The presentation for every dish was very attractive. The dessert that we ordered was the Tropical Fruits with Mango Sorbet. Really liked the presentation and refreshing taste. However, I find that the price is kindof expensive for the food but if you go there for a drink, the view is breath-taking.
